Kristen Bell isn’t one of those celebs who pretends their daily routine involves eating whole pizzas every day and sitting on the couch—the actor is open about the hard work it takes to stay in great shape.

In a new post to her Instagram, Bell opened up about the exact workout that has helped her reach her health and fitness goals amid the pandemic.

On May 18, Bell posted a photo of herself wearing a black spaghetti-strap spandex jumpsuit at the gym to Instagram. “Based on the results of my poll, I’ll be in this outfit for the foreseeable future,” she captioned the photo, referring to a poll she’d posted to her Instagram Stories asking fans if she could pull off wearing a workout onesie.

So, what’s Bell’s secret to staying fit? The actor credits her trainer, Charlie Curtis, and his INDOORphins workout series for helping her maintain her toned physique.

“Thank you @charcurtis for the workout. ? u, ? @indoorphins,” she wrote. This isn’t the first time Bell has sung the praises of Curtis’ workouts.

“I thought the burpees at the end would kill me…but I’m very much ALIVE and incredibly grateful for these blood pumping sessions. I don’t work out to get a certain body shape.

I work out for my mental health. And I notice a BIG difference when I do and when I don’t. When I don’t, I’m sad, irritable, anxious and lethargic.

When I do, I’m content, motivated, peaceful and energetic,” Bell wrote in a testimonial for the workout series on Instagram.

While Bell admits that working out is a major part of staying healthy both mentally and physically, she recently admitted that she’s not so fanatical about the practice that she allows missing an exercise session to throw her off her game.

“Most days, I run or lift weights for at least 30 minutes,” she told Shape in an April 2021 interview. “Or I’ll take a CrossFit class on indoorphins.com.”

“If I don’t have the energy, I refuse to beat myself up,” she added. “Instead, I’ll do a 10-minute meditation or stretch class on YouTube to prioritize myself.”
