San Andreas and Baywatch star Alexandra Daddario has signed on to star alongside Jenna Ushkowitz (Glee) and Laura Ashley Samuels (Modern Family) in the independent comedy 1 Night in San Diego.The film is being directed by Penelope Lawson (Just Sing) and follows BFFs who embark on a road trip to pursue a romantic connection, but their travels put their friendship to the ultimate test.

In addition to Daddario, Ushkowitz and Samuels, 1 Night in San Diego will feature a cast that includes Eric Nelsen (The Bay), Adam Rose (Veronica Mars), Mark Lawson (One Life to Live) and Kelsey Douglas (Sister Shit).

Daddario has both the drama film Lost Transmissions and thriller Lost Girls and Love Hotels incoming this year, and has recently shot the romantic comedy Can You Keep a Secret?, which she also executive produces.

Series stars Alexandra Daddario, Jennifer Coolidge, Connie Britton, and Sydney Sweeney all looked fresh-faced for the series’ debut, which took place at the members-only Bel-Air Bay Club in Los Angeles’ wealthy Pacific Palisades district.

The six-part satire drama, which premieres on the streaming site on July 11, follows the exploits of prestigious guests and staff at a fictitious tropical resort in Hawaii.

Leading the charge was Baywatch beauty Daddario, 35, who sparkled in a gold flapper-inspired dress with fringe & champagne-colored court shoes.

The auburn-haired beauty made a statement with red lips that complemented her flawless porcelain skin, and it was her first red carpet appearance with Jordana Brewster’s ex Andrew Form.

In the series, she is set to humorously play a wealthy woman mourning her mother’s death, who carries her ashes with her in a piece of luggage.
