Kaley later asked for a pay cut so her co-stars, Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch would receive higher pay. She still earned an estimated $900,000 per episode along with her fellow co-stars, Johnny Galecki, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, and Jim Parsons​​​​​​.The CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory skyrocketed Kaley Cuoco’s already impressive acting career. The television series began in 2007 and recently came to an end in 2019.

Her character Penny was a waitress at a cheesecake restaurant who was trying to make it as an actress.
