Kate Middleton is reportedly “upset” over the ongoing rift between the Royal Family and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior members of the British Royal Family in January 2020, but there were rumours of a royal rift long before this. Headlines indicated tension between William and Harry around the time that Harry and Meghan were engaged, as it was rumoured that William had warned his little brother to slow down with the fast-moving romance.

Kate has been “really, really upset about it all”, a royal insider told People. Access reported on YouTube: “Kate Middleton doesn’t like the Royal Family’s ongoing rift with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

“The Duchess of Cambridge is apparently troubled over the estrangement, according to a new report. “They added that the tension has also had an impact on her relationship with husband Prince William.”

The source said: “Everything with Harry and Meghan has been hugely stressful, but if anything, it’s pulled her and William closer together.

“She was upset about it because William was so upset. “Seeing her husband so distraught was tough on her.”

Access added: “What really set things adrift was their shocking tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, where the couple spilled all the royal tea.”

The most shocking allegation the couple made during the interview was that there were “conversations” within the Royal Family about how dark Meghan and Harry’s baby might be.

The Duchess of Sussex claimed: “In those months when I was pregnant [there were] concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he was born.”

She said the conversations were with Harry, who relayed them to her. Both she and Harry refused to say which royal said it. “That conversation, I am never going to share,” said Harry. “At the time it was awkward, I was a bit shocked.”

The pair also claimed that their time in the institution led to a deterioration of their mental health. Meghan claimed she felt suicidal, and had no help offered from the Royal Family. The pair moved to Montecito in July 2020.
