KATE MIDDLETON spent Christmas at Anmer Hall with her husband Prince William, their three children, and Carole and Michael Middleton. Kate Middleton was a no-show at Windsor Castle where the Queen celebrated Christmas. The Queen was joined by her eldest son and heir Prince Charles, his wife Camilla, and his youngest brother Prince Edward with his wife the Countess of Wessex.

Instead, Kate and Prince William travelled to their country manor house Anmer Hall in Norfolk with their three children, Prince George, eight, Princess Charlotte, six, and Prince Louis, three. Also in attendance were Kate’s parents, Carole Middleton, 66, and Michael Middleton, 72.

For the festive occasion, the Duchess of Cambridge wore a Blaze Milano ‘Anyway checked wool blazer’ in a mauve, brown tartan colour. Royal fans loved the blazer, with social media user @Carolinewhisper tweeting: “Classic style!”

The “classic” blazer is now retailing in the Boxing Day sales from My Theresa for £897, down 30 percent from £1,282. It has a 1980s-inspired silhouette, creating a rather bold look for the Duchess. Underneath Kate could be seen wearing a simple roll neck jumper, perfect for the December weather.

She also accessorised with a gorgeous feathered Philip Treacy hat from the AW20 collection which looked very suave.
Royal fan Diane Wheatley tweeted: “She looks great in it!” Meanwhile, social media user @monamm2175 wrote: “Love it.”

Another fan, @Patchezzie commented saying: “I love hats and I would wear this one, it’s fab!” The Duchess also added some stunning Catherine Zoraida ‘Gold Fern’ leaf earrings in 18ct gold plated silver. The leaf-shaped earrings complimented her feather hat extremely well.

They are currently retailing at £165 from the Catherine Zoraida website. Prince William was seen wearing a shirt, jacket and tie in a very smart Christmas Day outfit as they drove home from the St Mary Magdalene Church service. The children could be seen in the back of the car as they drove home, presumably for their Christmas lunch.

Princess Charlotte was wearing an adorable buttoned-up coat as she sat smiling between her brothers. The Queen did not travel up to Sandringham in Norfolk this year because of the coronavirus and took caution as a 95-year-old.

She chose instead to remain at Windsor Castle where she spends the majority of her time with a few family members who live close by coming to join her.

This was the first Christmas without her husband of 73 years, Prince Philip. Queen Elizabeth paid homage to the Duke of Edinburgh in her Christmas speech by wearing the same brooch she wore with him on their wedding anniversary in 1947.
