PRINCE GEORGE has been brutally mocked by Scottish football fans after England narrowly lost the Euro 2020 final against Italy last night.

Prince George, seven, attended the Euro 2020 final at Wembley alongside his parents, Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge.The young royal was ecstatic when England scored the first goal in just the second minute.

But later on the heir to the throne looked very tense and upset as the Three Lions lost in the penalty shoot outs.Pictures of George looking dumbfounded by the final result were brutally mocked by Scottish supporters.

Rebecca English, the Daily Mail’s royal editor, shared five photos of the youngster looking very concerned as the game went to penalties.Her caption read: “Prince George sums up the mood of the nation #penalties #Euro2020Final #ENGITA.”

She then shared a final image of the seven-year-old looking downbeat with Prince William placing his hand on his son’s shoulders after England’s crushing defeat at the final hurdle.

But Scottish football fans appeared to revel in George’s heartache. Commenting on Ms English’s post, one person wrote: “Doesn’t sum of the feeling in Scotland. “And this royal turnout is supposed to make Scotland want to stay in the union? Absolutely not.”

Another user said: “Hahahahahaahahahaha hope the little twerp cries into his tie.”A third wrote: “WAHAHAHAHAHHA ITALYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

Scotland bowed out of the Euros in the group stage. The team played England in the group stage and both sides failed to score.

Kate was spotted hiding her face in her hands after Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma saved the last penalty and crowned his team the winner of EURO 2020.

The Duchess of Cambridge headed to Wembley Stadium yesterday evening after spending two days at Wimbledon to watch the Ladies and Gentlemen’s singles finals.At the stadium, she joined her first-born Prince George and husband Prince William.

The Cambridges were seen celebrating after England stunned Italy with a goal just two minutes after the match began.While the Duke of Cambridge jumped to his feet and pumped his fists in the air, Prince George celebrated with a big hug from his beloved mum.

The seven-year-old, who wore a matching suit and tie with his father, then clapped his hands and gave Prince William a big smile.However, the royals became tenser in the second half of the match, as Italy equalised.

After Italy’s victory, Prince William was seen comforting his son placing his hands on George’s shoulders.
