The Cannes Film Festival has been in full swing after being cancelled last year amid the coronavirus pandemic, and a slew of stars stepped out on the red carpet on Sunday evening.

Famous faces, including Salma Hayek, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Jodie Turner-Smith, pulled out their most glamorous looks for a night at the Kering Women In Motion Awards.

Salma Hayek, 54, put on a very busty display as she arrived at the star-studded event wearing a tight blue sequin floor-length dress.

The two-tone strappy flowing gown stole the show and highlighted the Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard actress’s ample assets.

She styled her brunette locks in loose waves and a chunky braid, flowing over one shoulder and accessorised with a gold head piece.

Salma donned a simple makeup look adding a touch of glam with a red lipstick, carried a small black and gold clutch bag and wore an enormous diamond ring.

She posed for several photographs beside her husband Francois-Henri Pinault, who looked dapper in a black suit and bow tie. The couple tied the knot on Valentines day in Paris in 2009.

Joining Salma at the event was Maggie Gyllenhaal, 43, who wowed in a floor-length cream gown adorned in lace and a unique pattern.

The off-the-shoulder dress showcased the actresses slender arms while the other was covered by a sheer short sleeve.

It flowed down to the floor and was adorned with a swirl pattern at the bottom. As she walked along the catwalk she revealed her black sandals.

She kept her accessories simple, wearing a pair of large silver pendant earrings and two rings on her perfectly manicured.

Jodie, meanwhile, made quite the statement opting to wear a quirky floor-length dress, which had a glitzy straight skirt with hints of red and gold.

The low cut polka dot black V-neck top left little to the imagination and boasted large unmissable puffed sleeves.

She accessorised with lavish jewellery including a chunky silver necklace with diamonds and green jewels, as well as matching earrings.

The Anne Boleyn actress, 34, went for a pared down make-up look, adding a flash of colour with purple eyeshadow.

It comes after Jodie revealed on Sunday she spent her last day of the Cannes Film Festival 2021 in the police station after she was reportedly the victim of jewellery theft.

According to Variety, jewellery worth ‘tens of thousands of Euros’ was stolen on Friday afternoon.

She tweeted about spending two-and-a-half hours at the station on Sunday afternoon, but did not explain why she was there.

Taking to Twitter, she wrote: ‘Didn’t think I would be spending 2.5 hours in the police station on my final day in Cannes, but here we are…’
