Swiatek Spotted With New Tecnifibre Racket For 2024 Australian Open

Iga Swiatek shared she has a new racket design while shooting a promotion that was not related to her racket sponsor, Tecnifibre.

As revealed by the senior marketing head of Infosys – a multinational information technology company that very recently signed up the Pole as a global brand ambassador – Swiatek sported a new racket frame that she will play with at next year’s Australian Open.

Following a nearly six-hour shoot with her newest sponsors, Swiatek was quizzed on whether she was actually carrying her match racket, to which she replied, “Yes, it’s the new one for the Australian Open. Here take a look.”

Infosys is one of the major partners of the ATP Tour and select Grand Slam tournaments. They began to work more closely with the World No. 1 in September to promote Infosys’ digital innovation while at the same time inspiring and empowering young women around the world.

Swiatek has been playing with the Tecnifibre Tempo 298 IGA frame that is custom-made for her. The number “298” is the actual weight of the racket which she has used since 2021. Before that, she used to carry the Prince Textreme Tour 290.

But since she rose to prominence, the company Prince, didn’t have the financial muscle to retain the Pole, who ended up signing a contract with Tecnifbre. After swapping Prince for the Tecnifibre racket, which is strung with a Razor Code at 17g 1.25mm, she enjoyed considerable success.

Swiatek won the past two editions of the French Open and was a US Open champion in late 2022. The Polish star also became World No. 1 while playing with the Tecnifibre Tempo 298 which gives her balance in terms of ground stroke control and power. This is ideal for her aggressive baseline game.

More details regarding the name of this new racket will certainly be on the horizon from Swiatek’s racket sponsors before she begins her preparations for the 2024 season.
